3 November 2007
I arrived, while Allister dug.
I picked up some tools and walked to the end of the track, while Allister dug.
I walked back to the house and picked up some more tools, while Allister dug.
I broke my lopers and took all the tools back to the house, while Allister dug.
I looked for, but couldn't find, the scrub cutter, while Allister dug.
I fell asleep in the sun.

16 September 2007
On a hot day about 20 people came out to work over the day.
Some nice progress was made on the perimeter track including a nice new corner with some rocks,
looks like it'll be fun to ride.
Some more native trees and grasses have been planted round the final corner of C1 and near the chicken run.

09 September 2007
Scolly and I picked up another 80 natives from Trees for Canterbury last
weekend and got some busy hands to start clearing an area ready for planting them today!
We have coprosma, cabbage trees, toi toi, ake ake, and I forget what all the rest are.
A few of the last 60 perished in the cold weather and a few more got nibbled on. So the plan is to get
some protection for those that appear to be the tastiest.

Dig Day 11 August 2007
An awesome turnout of 14 on a blustery, almost summery day. Much progress was made on
digging and rock relocation from the corner of C1 and the Perimeter Track and along the ridge of the Perimeter
Track. The corner is 99% finished and another 60m of track was done on the Perimeter Track.
The afternoon shift planted the first 60 native trees, thanks to Trees for Canterbury.

Dig Day 15 July 2007
Another good showing on a brisk and cold morning which turned into a
nice day. Work was focussed on the climbing track with the completion of another corner, benching
to and along the approach to the last corner has also been made. We have scrub cut above the bench
in four areas and spot sprayed in preparation for planting as well. With the rain of the previous
month, we were able to see areas that were draining well and have sorted the few sections that
needed some TLC. Lastly we have widened the bench on the section between the second and third
corners. We finished the day with a warm drink, Em's Power Cookies and a warm fire. See you next time.
